I have been studying accelerators for about 20 years. I have experience designing, building, and measuring accelerators, and I would like to continue making a living with accelerators. I'm thinking of starting a blog as a reminder and spreader of the accelerator.

PHITS

PHITS is a Montecarlo simulator and has a friendly interface.
https://phits.jaea.go.jp/index.html
It is a free tool and very useful.
You can contract with the web form.
The installation is straightforward, and many examples are in the install folder.
This simulation tool also calculates a thermal loading problem.
